Aryaditya Launches New Single ‘Oh Arya—Ocean’

Kolkata: Aryaditya Bose, younger son of percussionist Tanmoy Bose, recently launched his new single ‘Oh Arya–Ocean’ in the city. The event was attended by leading tabla player Bickram Ghosh, percussionist Ratul Shankar, drummer of Lakkhichhara Gourab ‘Gabu’ Chatterjee, bassist Mainak ‘Bumpy’ Nag Chowdhury, and other musicians.

Tanmoy and Aryaditya’s elder brother Shiladitya Bose who himself is an electronic dance music (EDM) producer, were also present at the event.

Speaking at the release of his new single, Aryaditya said, “I wanted to make something fresh and unique for a long time and this song is the result of my hard work. Every time a final draft was made, I felt like it could be made better. A year and over a hundred changes later, I was able to record the track.”

Aryaditya took to music at 15. He would play around with beats on his computer, inspired from the music of Daft Punk and Metro Boomin. It took Aryaditya about two years to produce music like a professional.
