Srabanti Chatterjee to Play an Actress in New Thriller
RBN Web Desk: Popular Bengali actress Srabanti Chatterjee will play an actress, called Roopsha, in an upcoming thriller titled Drishyantar. The film is a whodunit directed by Rana Banerjee and also has Indrani Haldar and Debshankar Haldar as part of the cast.
The first phase of the shooting will be held in Darjeeling and the crew will soon leave Kolkata for the hill town.
The narrative of the film follows the unconditional love that Roopsha has for her husband, who lives and works in Dubai.
Music for the film is being composed by Indraadip Dasgupta while Binit Ranjan Maitra is in charge of the background score.
Srabanti Chatterjee will be seen in a pivotal role in Srijit Mukherjee’s film Uma, which is slated to release in June.
