Paloma Hits Bull’s Eye on Playback Debut

RBN Web Desk: Paloma Majumder, who debuts as a playback singer with Aami Ki Tomay Khub Birokto Korchhi from the Drishtikone soundtrack, seems to have struck gold in her first attempt. The video of the song was released online on 7 April and has since witnessed an almost meteoric rise up the popularity charts.

She has lent her voice to the song composed by singer-songwriter Anupam Roy.

Speaking to a leading English daily recently, Paloma said, while recording for the song, she had no idea that the film had Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta in the lead.

Paloma has been an independent musician all along and had only worked for Raja Narayan Deb in mainstream music before working for Anupam.
