Bishorjon Sequel May be Named Bijoya

RBN Web Desk: Director Kaushik Ganguly has wrapped up the shooting for his next film Kishore Kumar Junior, and if industry sources are to be believed, is planning a sequel to his 2017 film Bishorjon. The film had Abir Chatterjee, Jaya Ahsan, and Kaushik himself in the lead.

According to sources, the Bishorjon sequel is likely to be named Bijoya, means the day on which the idol of goddess Durga is immersed into the water signaling the end of Durga Puja festivities.

Shooting for the Bishorjon sequel is likely to begin later this year.

Bishorjon was critically acclaimed and was adjudged the best Bengali film at the 64th National Film Awards last year. It was an Indo-Bangla coproduction.
