Shweta Bhattacharya Fears Job Loss

RBN Web Desk: Popular TV actress Shweta Bhattacharya is fearing a job loss once the Star Bharat show Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki goes off air. Shweta said that she didn’t expect the show to be pulled out so soon.

Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki is the Hindi remake of popular Bengali TV serial Bhojo Gobindo. It was Shweta’s first Hindi project as the female lead. The serial started broadcast from 1 January, and according to industry sources, is likely to be pulled out shortly.

Shweta told the media that the TRP of Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki was good. According to her, shooting for the serial is still going on, and the cast and crew are booked for the entire month.

The actress said that she is yet to sign any new project, and if the show is taken off air, she will be left jobless.

Shweta has played the lead in a number of Bengali TV serials like Jarowar Jhumko, Tumi Robe Nirobe, and others.
