Kabir Premiere May Not Happen

RBN Web Desk: Kabir, one of the most anticipated films to release this summer, may not have a premiere before it is commercially released in theatres. The film, directed by Aniket Chattopadhyay, has Dev, Rukmini Maitra, Priyanka Sarkar, and Shataf Figar in lead roles.

The film is bankrolled by Dev’s production company.

If industry sources are to be believed, Dev has decided not to hold a Kabir premiere show, despite such events being a common trend in the industry.

But this is not the first time that the actor has opted out of holding a premiere for a film that he has produced. He had earlier done the same for Raj Chakroborty’s Chaamp last year.

Dev, reportedly, is taking his chances of promoting the entire film on social media.

Kabir opens on 13 April.
