Darshana Banik to Star Opposite Nara Rohit
RBN Web Desk: Well known model and actress Darshana Banik is all set for her Telugu film debut soon. She will be seen in the action thriller Atagallu opposite Telugu star Nara Rohit.
Darshana was in Mumbai recently to shoot for a music video and appeared for a look test for the film. She was selected from over 350 girls who auditioned for the part. According to the actress, there were eight rounds of auditions, because the makers were very particular about the casting.

Back home, Darshana is awaiting the release of Aami Ashbo Phirey, directed by Anjan Dutt. Her last film was director Argha Deep Chatterjee’s Jojo which released earlier this month. That aside, her performance in the web-series 6—where she appeared alongside Nishan Nanaiah, Silajit Majumder and Bhaswar Chatterjee—was well received by the audience.
Atagallu is directed by Paruchuri Murali and will release later this year.
