Tiyasa Ray to Fight Colour Discrimination in Debut Serial

RBN Web Desk: Aspiring television actress Tiyasa Ray is all set to make her small screen debut in upcoming serial Krishnakoli. Promos of the serial are currently being aired on Zee Bangla.

According to sources, Tiyasa plays Shyama in the new serial, a dusky girl who is rejected by her prospective groom because of her complexion. Several more rejections follow which makes the girl determined to fight colour discrimination.

Shyama, as shown in the promos, is not bothered about her looks and plays in the sun. She calls her friends to come and play with her, which they refuse, because that may burn their skin. Shyama’s mother, meanwhile, come hunting for her as the family of the prospective groom is expected to arrive anytime soon.
