Trina to Debut in Comedy Thriller

RBN Web Desk: Popular TV actress Trina Saha is all set to make her big screen debut in Thai Curry. The comedy thriller film is being directed by Ankit Aditya and Trina will be sharing screen space along with several leading stars of Bengali cinema.

Trina had played the lead in the hugely popular serial Khokababu which was aired on a private general entertainment channel. The 805-episode serial ended its two-year run in July. Trina recently told the media that she got the script of Thai Curry after Khokababu ended. She found the project interesting and gave her nod, the actress added.

Besides Trina, the film has Rudranil Ghosh, Soham Chakraborty, Hiraan Chatterjee, and Tanushree Chakraborty in the lead. Saswata Chatterjee and Pallavi Chatterjee will also be seen in other major roles.

The film is about three friends and various hilarious incidents that happen in their lives. Rudranil plays the owner of a shack in Thailand.  Thai Curry will be shot entirely at Bangkok and Pattaya.
