Rukmini is the Best Heroine in Recent Times: Dev

RBN Web Desk: Popular actor Dev has said that Rukmini Maitra is the best heroine in recent times. The two have worked together in films like Chaamp (2017), Cockpit (2017), and Kabir (2018).

Speaking to the media recently on the sidelines of the Telengana Bengali Film Festival (TBFF) in Hyderabad, Dev said, “She is a fantastic actress. Rukmini is disciplined and a complete actress to work with. She is professional and does not quit a project before midway. Rukmini is beautiful and has one of the most gorgeous looking faces in town.”

Dev is in Hyderabad for the screening of Kabir at the TBFF. The film is directed by Aniket Chatterjee and is bankrolled by the actor’s production house.

The actor-lawmaker said, “Kabir was an experimental film for me. I felt that we were making safe films and was going around in circles. As an actor-producer, I wanted to break out from that mould. We have to come up with something new to stamp our presence in world cinema. All over the world people are experimenting with new content. Kabir was a bold film in this regard.”
