Three Decades Later, Jacqueline Scorches in Ek Do Teen Reboot

RBN Web Desk: The reboot of the iconic Ek Do Teen dance number from N Chandra’s 1988 film Tezaab released yesterday on the internet, and this time, it is Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez who has the audience at her feet. The video of the song, from the upcoming action-thriller film Baaghi 2, has already attracted nearly four million views since in less than 24 hours.

Thirty years ago it was Madhuri Dixit who sent the entire country into a tailspin with her moves in the song that was choreographed by Saroj Khan. The song was written by Javed Akhtar and set to tune by composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

Saroj Khan joined Ganesh Acharya and Ahmed Khan to choreograph the Ek Do Teen reboot.

The original song (female version) was sung by Alka Yagnik, and this time, it is Shreya Ghoshal who has lent her voice to the reboot. The music has been recreated by Sandeep Shirodkar.
