Riya and Raima Will Join Politics, Says Moon Moon

RBN Web Desk: Veteran actress Moon Moon Sen has said that her daughters Riya Sen and Raima Sen will join politics. Moon Moon is contesting the Asansol seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate.

Speaking at a rally in Pandabeswar yesterday, Moon Moon said, her daughters will be seen in politics but in due time. Both of them, she said, are now busy with their professional commitments.

Riya and Raima are expected to accompany the 64-year old actress in her next visit to the constituency.

Moon Moon is an incumbent TMC MP from Bankura. She defeated nine-time CPM lawmaker Basudeb Acharia in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
