Monalisa to Appear in New Hindi Serial

RBN Web Desk: Bhojpuri actress Antara Biswas aka Monalisa, who played the role of Jhuma Boudi in the hugely popular web-series Dupur Thakurpo 2, will now be seen in a new Hindi serial that will be aired on a private channel. Monalisa, according to sources, will play a witch in the serial.

Speaking to the media, Monalisa said, this is for the first time that she will be a part of a TV show on the supernatural genre. She is playing an interesting role in the serial, Monalisa said, adding that the show presents paranormal activities in a new format.

Monalisa had replaced Swastika Mukherjee in Dupur Thakurpo 2. The role, earlier named Uma Boudi, was rechristened as Jhuma Boudi in the second season. Majority of the cast in the web-series was changed in the new season.
