Jisshu Sengupta Hospitalised

RBN Web Desk: Actor Jisshu Sengupta has been hospitalised after he complained of severe pain in his stomach. Jisshu is one of the most popular actors in the Bengali film industry and his latest film Uma is drawing houseful crowds to the theatres.

According to sources, Jisshu was feeling unwell since yesterday morning, and his condition deteriorated around afternoon. He was rushed to a private hospital in south Kolkata later in the day. A medical team has been formed to look after the actor, sources added.

Doctors attending to the actor said that the stomach pain could be due to gastric problems. A gall bladder problem is also not being entirely ruled out, they said, adding that more will be known regarding the nature of the ailment after a series of tests is carried out.

Jisshu, according to reports last received, is stable today than on Sunday.

The actor is working on several projects in both Kolkata and Mumbai and has a number of films up for release in the coming months.
