Goyenda Gogol to Stream from 24 March
RBN Web Desk: Gogol Chatterjee, the popular fictional child detective character created by author Samaresh Basu, will now be available as a new web-series from 24 March. Kairong Mothey Gogol will be the first story to be streamed. Actor Swarnabho Sanyal is playing the title role in the Goyenda Gogol series.
The debut episode of the web-series is based on the story Kairon Moth Er Gogoler Kando, which is set in a monastery in Sikkim. Goyenda Gogol will be directed by Arindam Dey, who had earlier made a film of the same name in 2013.
Popular Bollywood Actor Likely in Next Shabor Film
Swarnabho had earlier acted in films like Arundhati (2009), Bonku Babu (2014), Badsha-The Don (2016), and others. He is a well known face on Bengali television.
Subhrojit Dutta, Kamalika Banerjee, and Kaushik Chakraborty play other major roles in Kairong Mothey Gogol. Ambarish Bhattacharya has been roped in to play a scientist in the series.
