In a First, Parno and Ritwick to Play Siblings
RBN Web Desk: Parno Mittra and Ritwick Chakraborty are all set to play siblings, probably for the first time on the big screen, in director Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming film Happy Pill. The trailer of the film was launched yesterday. The film has Sohini Sarkar and Mir in other major roles.
Ritwick plays Siddhartha, a meritorious student who had to drop out of medical college because of some unfortunate circumstances. He runs a sweet shop to earn his livelihood. Siddhartha claims to know of a formula which can be used for making a magic pill that will make people happy. Parno plays his sister Rini who is depressed with her dark looks and rubs fairness creams on her face all day. Sohini, meanwhile, plays a journalist who is always reprimanded by her boss. She suffers from low self-esteem. Mir plays a potbellied middle-aged man.

The narrative of the film revolves around Sidhartha’s accidental discovery of the magic pill and the incidents that follow.
The film will release next month.
