Ayub Bachchu Dead

RBN Web Desk: Ayub Bachchu, one of the most prominent singers in Bangladesh, passed away today morning. He was 56.

Sources at Dhaka’s Square Hospital informed the media that Ayub Bachchu was brought in an unconscious state at around 9.45am (DST). He fell ill at his home and was rushed to the hospital, sources added.

Ayub Bachchu was considered one of the pioneers of rock music in Bangladesh. The singer-songwriter was the founder member of the band Love Runs Blind, more populary kown by its acronym LRB worldwide. He began his career as a member of Feelings and later joined Souls, before forming LRB. He is remembered for his immense contribution to Bangla rock music, and performed live all over the world.

He was hugely popular among rock music aficionados in Kolkata.
