Arifin Shuvo at Home in Kolkata Markets

RBN Web Desk: Bangladeshi star Arifin Shuvo has enjoyed an almost meteoric rise to fame. He is now one of the most popular actors in Bangladesh and has his hands full with several projects. The actor is presently in Kolkata to shoot for Ranjan Ghosh’s film Aha Re which has Rituparna Sengupta playing the female lead. He has also bagged a pivotal role in director Arindam Sil’s next film Balighwar.

Both films are Indo-Bangla joint ventures.

Shuvo is busy shooting for Aha Re in Kolkata and some shots of the film were canned in a number of renowned vegetable and fish markets in the city. Shuvo said that he found the Kolkata markets much similar to the ones in Dhaka. The Kolkata markets have the same vibes that one gets to see back in his hometown, he added.

Shuvo plays a celebrity chef in Aha Re while Rituparna plays a home cook.

Jeet Gannguli Takes the Singles Route

The actor said that he is fortunate to work with a senior like Rituparna as there’s so much to learn from her.

The two, have already shared screen space in the Bangladeshi film Ekti Cinemar Golpo which released recently.
