Strange as it may sound, legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan entered the Guinness World Records for entirely non-film reasons. He was the only film actor to sing the devotional Hanuman Chalisa, along with 19 other popular singers and composers. The piece was composed by Shekhar Ravjiani. Abhijit Bhattacharya, Aadesh Shrivastava, Babul Supriyo, Kailash Kher, Hansraj Hans, Kay Kay, Kunal Ganjawala, Kumar Sanu, Manoj Tiwari, Prasoon Joshi, Mukul Aggarwal, Roopkumar Rathod, Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar, Vinod Rathod, Sukhwinder Singh, and Udit Narayan were the others involved in the project.

More famously remembered as the hunchbacked Manthara in the 1986 television serial Ramayan, Lalita Pawar entered the Guinness World Records when she became the actress to have the longest career in Hindi films for more than seven decades. She made her acting debut at 12, and worked continuously in over 700 films. Some of her most memorable films are Anari (1959), Shri 420 (1955), and Junglee (1961). Lalita Pawar was also one of the first women producers of Bollywood. She co-produced the silent film Kailash (1932), and Duniya Kya Hai (1938), a talkie.

While purists may doubt her acting skills, Katrina Kaif has surely come a long way since her debut in Boom (2003). Over the years she has sealed her place in Bollywood as one of the top actresses. She has worked in several major box office hits and with almost all leading directors. Katrina cut the Guinness World Records in 2013 when she became the highest-earning actress in Bollywood with an income of ₹63.75 crore from films, brand endorsements and event appearances.
