9 Bollywood Films that Deserve a Sequel
7. Jhankaar Beats (2003)

More of a tribute to music, especially that of RD Burman. The story of three friends and their love for music. Long before Sujoy Ghose came up with the superlative Kahaani, the director made this. Rahul Bose, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Suri and Shayan Munshi played their hearts out in this film. A reunion of the music lovers is not a bad idea.
8. Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006)

Who won’t love to see Kishen Khurana (Boman Irani) back as the potbellied gross realtor, urinating in his own garden? The directorial debut of Dibakar Banerjee was about how a corrupt promoter encroach a land bought by the Khosla family. What follows—in an attempt to get the land back by the Khoslas—is superb fun. Our hearts went out to Kamal Kishore Khosla (a superb Anupam Kher) as the retired middle class man, swindled by the evil Khurana. But we will miss Navin Nischol for sure.
9. Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008)

Inspired by the story of a real life con-man, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! was another gem from Dibakar Banerjee. With Paresh Rawal in multiple roles and a brilliant support cast including Richa Chadda, Manu Rishi, and Neetu Chandra, this film was one hell of an entertainer. Bringing the team back for a continuation could be a nice idea if a solid script is available.
