Swastika Mukherjee in New Bollywood Film

RBN Web Desk: Popular Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee is all set to star in her second Bollywood film. She was last seen in the 2015 film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! which was directed by Dibakar Banerjee and had Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role.

Swastika, in her new Bollywood film, will work with Kay Kay Menon. While details of the project are still closely guarded, the film is reportedly being shot in Bhopal. A set has been erected in the city for this purpose.

Last week, the actress posted a picture of the shooting location on her social media, which showed a set of a railway station created inside a warehouse. She added #bhopaldiaries to the picture.

Back home, Swastika has several projects lined up at various stages of production. Michael is due for release and the actress will start shooting for CrissCross, directed by Birsa Dasgupta. That aside, Swastika will star in Anjan Dutt’s Aami Ashbo Phirey and Birpurush, directed by Rajorshi Dey.
