Now Shilajit as ACP
With the run of big-ticket Puja releases coming to an end in various theatres, actor-singer Shilajit Majumdar will now be seen in a new film titled Amar Shahor, slated to be released soon.
The trailer of the film, a whodunit, was recently released on the internet and has generated a fair amount of interest among the audience.

Shilajit, for the first time, will play the role of an assistant commissioner of police (ACP) on a mission to solve a gruesome murder that takes place in Kolkata.
The film is produced by RMIT Pvt Ltd and is directed by Jenny and Dipayan. Shilajit looks convincing as a crack cop of the Kolkata Police special branch.
Amar Shahor features an ensemble cast that includes Rudranil Ghosh, Sampurna Lahiri, Priyanka Sarkar, Sayoni Ghosh, Samadarshi Dutta, Indrasish Roy, Shantilal Mukherjee and others.
Shilajit has straddled both professions as a singer and actor. He has played key roles in films like Sangee, Bye Bye Bangkok, Tintorettor Jishu, Highway, and Hemlock Society.
