Veteran Actor Dinyar Contractor Dead

RBN Web Desk: Popular actor Dinyar Contractor, known for his supporting roles in Hindi films, breathed his last today morning. The 79-year old actor died because of old age-related complications. He will be cremated in the evening.

Contractor was seen in a number of blockbuster Hindi films like ‘Khiladi’, ‘Baadshah’, Daraar’, ‘36 China Town’ and others. He also acted in several popular television shows.

Contractor started his career as a theatre actor and worked mostly in Hindi and Gujarati plays. He was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri in 2019 for his contribution to theatre and arts.

Contractor started performing in plays during his school days and began his professional career in 1966.
