Third Shabor Film Opens Nationally
RBN Web Desk: Aschhe Abar Shabor, the third Shabor film in the popular franchise, was released nationally yesterday in Bengaluru, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, and elsewhere. The film has Saswata Chatterjee reprising his role as an assistant commissioner of Kolkata Police and solving a series of gruesome murders.
According to unconfirmed reports, the film has already grossed ₹11 million in box office collections.
Besides Saswata, the film has Arunima Ghosh, Indraneil Sengupta, Anjana Basu, and Diti Saha in major roles.
The countrywide release of Aschhe Abar Shabor follows the latest trend of exhibiting popular Bengali films before a pan-India audience and boost revenues.
