Swastika Quits Birsa Dasgupta Film

RBN Web Desk: Leading actress Swastika Mukherjee has reportedly walked out of Crisscross, being directed by Birsa Dasgupta, because of a ‘shallow script’. The actress said that she is more interested in roles where she can display her acting prowess, and the script of Cricsscross didn’t give her the proper opportunity.

Crisscross has Mimi Chakraborty, SohiniSarkar, Nusrat Jahan, Gaurav Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Vikram Chatterjee, and Indrashish Roy as part of the cast.

Swastika believed that she would have to jostle for screen space among the ensemble cast.

According to reports, Swastika has been already replaced by another actress.
