Suman Ghosh Steps into Bollywood
RBN Web Desk: Director Suman Ghosh, whose debut film Podokkhep won veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee the prestigious Silver Lotus at the 2006 National Film Awards, is all set to step into Bollywood. Podokkhep was also adjudged the best Bengali feature film that year.
Suman announced the signing of the film, Aadhaar, on Twitter yesterday.

The project is being bankrolled by the production house that earlier backed films like Masaan (2014), Dhanak (2016), and Newton (2017).
A Reunion, 35 Years in the Making
Suman recently made The Argumentative Indian, a documentary on Amartya Sen, based on a book of the same name by the Nobel Prize winning economist.
Suman himself is a professor of economics at the Florida Atlantic University.
Actor-director Kaushik Ganguly and actor Prosenjit Chatterjee congratulated Suman on his debut Hindi film.
