Past Behind, Hasin Jahan Returns to Modelling

RBN Web Desk: Hasin Jahan, the estranged wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, has returned to modelling to eke out a dignified living and meet the expenses of her daughter. Hasin was a professional model and a cheerleader of Kolkata Knight Riders. She quit the career after her marriage to Shami.

Hasin told the media that she had given up modelling after marrying Shami since he didn’t like it. Now that Shami has deserted her, she is trying to return to her career and reclaim success, Hasin said.

She however acknowledged that it’s difficult to get a foothold after being detached from the profession and with younger models coming in to fill up the spaces. But she has been calling up her old friends since May and they have helped her to land work. She is now shuttling between Mumbai and Kolkata on modelling assignments, Hasin added.

Hasin lives with her daughter at a south Kolkata flat. Her father and elder daughter from a previous marriage, comes down to take care of her three-year old daughter, Hasin added.
