Next Byomkesh Film an Espionage Thriller Likely
RBN Web Desk: Director Arindam Sil has started planning his new Byomkesh film, which is likely to be based on Magno Mainak. The film will have actors Abir Chatterjee and Rahul Banerjee reprising their roles as Byomkesh Bakshi and Ajit Bandyopadhyay respectively.
Byomkesh Gowtro, the last film to feature the iconic fictional sleuth created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, was a major hit at the box office. The film released during Durga Puja and locked horns with director Srijit Mukherji’s film Ek Je Chhilo Raja. Both films were bankrolled by the same production house and set the cash registers ringing.
Trina to Debut in Comedy Thriller

Earlier there were reports that Arindam will be adapting Durgo Rahaysa for the big screen.
