Mishti Chakraborty Likely in Raj’s Next Film

RBN Web Desk: Director Raj Chakraborty is all set to start his new film which will have Jeet in the lead, and if industry sources are to be believed, the project would be a thriller. Raj’s latest film Adventures of Jojo released last week.

And now speculation is rife that Mishti Chakraborty is likely to play the female lead in the film. Mishti is a popular actress of southern cinema and had debuted in director Subhash Ghai’s 2014 film Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. She played the title role in the film. Mishti made her Bengali film debut in the same year, which had Prosenjit Chatterjee and Ferdous Ahmed in major roles. The film was directed by Rupali Guha.

Mishti went on to become a leading actress in south Indian cinema. She also starred in Indra Kumar’s Great Grand Masti (2016) and Srijit Mukherji’s Begum Jaan (2017).
