Madalsa Sharma, Mimoh Chakraborty Tie the Knot

RBN Web Desk: Mimoh Chakraborty, son of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty and yesteryear actress Yogeeta Bali, has exchanged wedding vows with actress-model Madalsa Sharma in a reportedly low-key ceremony. The wedding was earlier called off on 7 July when police arrived at the venue to investigate into the charges of rape, cheating, and wrongful termination of pregnancy, brought by a Bhojpuri actress against Mimoh and his mother.

It may be recalled that Madalsa’s family and relatives decided to cancel the wedding until the completion of the police inquiry into the allegations against Yogeeta and Mimoh. However, Mimoh and his mother have since secured bail from the Delhi High Court, and the marriage ceremony went ahead as planned.

Mimoh and Madalsa, according to sources, registered their marriage on the same day after the guests left the venue. The traditional marriage and reception is being held today at Mithun’s hotel in Ooty.

Sources informed that the pre-wedding sangeet ceremony was held yesterday. The guest list, sources said, has been considerably shortened and now includes only the relatives and close friends of the two families.
