Joyjit Banerjee to Join Popular Bengali Serial

RBN Web Desk: Actor Joyjit Banerjee is all set to be seen in an important role in popular Bengali serial Jai Kali Kalkattawali. The show has Biswanath Basu and national award winning actress Ananya Chattopadhyay in the lead.

According to sources, Joyjit will play a police inspector in the serial, hunting for a child who suddenly goes missing. He has already finished shooting several episodes of the serial. Joyjit reportedly has a confrontation scene in the show against Abhaya, the character which is being played by Ananya.

Speaking to the media, Joyjit admitted that he is working in Jai Kali Kalkattawali. He hoped that his performance will be liked by the audience.

Joyjit was the winner of a popular TV reality show in 2016.
