Kushal Chakraborty Undergoes Major Surgery
RBN Web Desk: Popular television actor Kushal Chakraborty, best remembered for playing Mukul in Satyajit Ray’s 1974 film Sonar Kella, underwent a major surgery yesterday afternoon at a private hospital on EM Bypass. He suffered a deep wound on his right hand and was rushed to the hospital earlier at around 2.30am.
A medical board has been formed to look after the actor. According to sources, the surgery lasted for close to four hours. The actor is now reportedly stable and has been transferred to the bed.
Penniles, Miss Shefali Battles for Life
The cause of the injury is yet to be known.
Since his debut in Sonar Kella, Kushal has played important roles in several TV serials. He is also a popular stage actor.
