Court Orders FIR against Yogeeta Bali, Mahaakshay

RBN Web Desk: A district court in Delhi has ordered the registration of a first information report (FIR) against veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s wife Yogeeta Bali and their son Mahaakshay. They face charges of cheating, rape, and inducing miscarriage sans consent.

A report on a private TV channel said that an actress, who has worked in Bhojpuri and Hindi films in Mumbai, moved court against Yogeeta and Mahaakshay. The actress, in her complaint, alleged that she was in a relationship with Mithun’s son since 2015. They had a physical relationship and Mahaakshay reportedly promised to marry her. The actress became pregnant, and later suffered a miscarriage because of mental torture from Mahaakshay and his mother, the channel quoted the actress as having said.

The FIR will be lodged at the Begumpur police station.

Yogeeta is the niece of renowned actress Geeta Bali. She was married to legendary singer Kishore Kumar before marrying Mithun in 1979.
