6 Top TV Stars Who Earn More than Bollywood Actors
Gone are the days when TV was considered the poor cousin of the big screen. The industry has grown manifold over the last couple of decades, not just in production budget, but also in the remuneration that some top TV stars command. There’s no denying the fact that actors and actresses on TV have to work under far more demanding conditions than their Bollywood counterparts, with entire episodes being shot within a day, and sometimes for months on end sans any break. Producers, not surprisingly, are ready to pay the earth for them.

Her role as Archana Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta was lauded by the audience. She participated as a contestant in the fourth season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa with her former husband Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita quotes anywhere between ₹1-1.5 lakhs for every episode.
