Rakesh Roshan Diagnosed with Carcinoma
RBN Web Desk: Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early-stage squamous carcinoma in the throat, a type of cancer characterised by uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells on the throat lining. The filmmaker’s son Hrithik Roshan, revealed his father’s health condition in a social media post.
Hrithik, in the post, informed that Rakesh will under surgery later today. He said that his father is in full spirits and hit the gym as usual even on the day of the surgery.
Rakesh has been working on the fourth part of the hugely popular Krrish franchise where Hrithik plays the male lead. The female lead has not yet been confirmed by the production house.

In his career as an actor, Rakesh Roshan acted in more than 80 films. He debuted as a director with the 1987 film Khudgarz which was a blockbuster hit.
