Priyanka to Return as the Mystery Woman

RBN Web Desk: Actress Priyanka Sarkar is all set to return as the mystery woman in a new season of popular web-series Hello. The series is streamed over the on-demand digital entertainment platform Hoichoi. Raima Sen and Joy Sengupta play other major roles in the series.

The narrative of Hello, in its first season, centered around infidelity with the Durga Puja festival as the backdrop. According to the story, Nandita (Raima) receives a video on her mobile phone which shows her husband (Sengupta) having an affair with a mystery woman (Priyanka). This is followed by several more videos. An angry and intrigued Nandita launches a quest to unearth the real identity of the woman who sent the messages. Her desperation forms the plot of the gripping thriller.

Sources close to the production house revealed that the story will pick up from where it ended in the first season. A teaser poster of the new series was launched recently.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of an event in Kolkata recently, Priyanka said, “I am looking forward to Hello: Season 2 and hopefully this will be more absorbing than the first season.”

Shooting for the new season has already started.

The actress, on the work front, is gearing up for the release of Arindam Sil’s Byomkesh Gowtro where she plays a key role. The film opens on 12 October.

The first season of Hello was among the top three most watched series on Hoichoi, along with Byomkesh and Dupur Thakurpo.
