Double the Joy for Srijit Today

RBN Web Desk: It was double the joy for Srijit Mukherji today. The filmmaker celebrated his birthday with a new song from his upcoming film Ek Je Chhilo Raja.

The song— Tu Dikkhe Na—has been written by Srijato Bandopadhyay and sung by Kailash Kher and Ishan Mitra. Indraadip Dasgupta has composed the music for the track.

Speaking to the media, Kailash said, Indraadip is an extremely talented composer and it was a pleasure working with him again.

Tu Dikkhe Na is a Sufi number sung in a rustic Punjabi dialect. The video of the song has been shot all across India and chronicles the Bhawal saint’s journey through the country. Kailash, according to Indraadip, didn’t face any difficultly in lending his voice to the song as there are no Bengali words.

Birthday wishes, meanwhile, poured in on the filmmaker’s social media accounts.

Ek Je Chhilo Raja is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Actor-director Anjan Dutt, who plays a key role in it, recently said that Ek Je Chhilo Raja is by far Srijit’s best-made film.
