Not a Flying Start for Devi Choudhurani

RBN Web Desk: Star Jalsha’s new daily serial Devi Choudhurani has performed below expectations in the television rating point (TRP) charts released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC) for the current week. Krishnakali, aired on Zee Bangla, has retained the top spot in the urban 15+ chart with 10.2 points in the week under review.

Devi Choudhurani, however, emerged the topper among all daily serials aired on Star Jalsha.

Rewind: 30 Years of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara

The second and third spots were bagged by Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni (9.6) and Joy Baba Lokenath (9.0). Joyee, which has steadily risen in the charts since the past few weeks, came fourth with 8.6 points. The fifth position has been locked by Zee Bangla’s Bokul Katha.

The rest of the ranks in the overall chart for this week are as follows.

According to experts, the next week is likely to see an interesting contest between Bhoomikanya and Devi Choudhurani.  Bhoomikanya has several leading film actors as part of the cast and will run for around 200 episodes.
