Katmundu Sequel to Begin with Netaji Disappearance Trail
RBN Web Desk: Director Raj Chakraborty is all set to start shooting for his next project Katmundu 2 Cambodia, a sequel to his 2015 romantic comedy Katmundu. He recently locked the lead cast for the film.
According to sources, like the first film, the Katmundu sequel will centre around the hilarious incidents involving the character Rudranil Ghosh is playing. His character in the film is reportedly obsessed with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s idealism. He finds a diary which hints that Netaji’s disappearance trail could be in Cambodia. He leaves for the country without informing anyone.

His friends soon notice that Rudranil is missing and decide to investigate. They land in Cambodia where all hell breaks loose. They are joined in the hunt by Tonushree Chakraborty and Subhashree Ganguly who play police officers in the film.
Besides Rudranil, the Katmundu sequel has Jisshu Sengupta, Soham Chakraborty and Kharaj Mukherjee in major roles. Abir Chatterjee had played Jisshu’s role in the first film.
Katmundu 2 Cambodia is slated for a Durga Puja release.
