Hanu Raghavpudi to Shoot Entire Film in Kolkata
RBN Web Desk: It seems that south is headed east. With southern superstar Rajinikanth busy shooting Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film in the Darjeeling hills, here comes another interesting piece of information. Director Hanu Raghavpudi, known for hits like Andala Rakshasi (2012) and Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha (2016), is all set to can an entire film in Kolkata. The Telugu director, in fact, has already started the shooting of Padi Padi Leche Manasu which has Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in the lead.
Besides Kolkata, the film will be shot at several interior locations in West Bengal, while some scenes will be canned in Kathmandu.
According to Raghavpudi, Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a love story that centres around a Telugu family living in south Kolkata, which is where most people from the southern states live in the city. This is the second schedule of the film which will last for 40 days. Earlier in February, the unit shot for 35 days in the state, he added.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu will release later this year. The film will be subtitled in Bengali for the Kolkata audience.
