Fire on the Sets of Shah Rukh Starrer

RBN Web Desk: A fire reportedly broke out on the sets of Zero in Mumbai earlier this evening, damaging electric wiring, installation, lights, shooting materials, ropes and curtains among other things. No casualties were reported.

Zero, directed by Anand L Rai, has Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, R Madhavan, Javed Jaffrey, and Tigmanshu Dhulia in major roles. The film also has Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol in cameos.

According to reports, a short circuit triggered the fire on the sets of the Shah Rukh starrer, while a song was being shot. Shah Rukh was present at the shooting, but was in his vanity van at that moment. Leading actress Alia Bhatt too was around the sets when the fire broke out. It spanned across the 12,000 sqft set. Two hydrant lines of the studio and several fire engines were pressed to service to bring the situation under control, sources informed.
