Dev-Subhasree Starrer Finally Gets a Release Date
RBN Web Desk: After almost a two-year delay, the much awaited Dev-Subhasree starrer Dhumketu, has got a release date. If everything goes as planned, the film will open on 15 August.
Bengali superstar Dev and popular actress Subhasree Ganguly play the lead in Dhumketu directed by Kaushik Ganguly. The actor and the film’s co-producer Rana Sarkar seem to have ironed out their differences and Dev is all set to resume dubbing for the film.
Sarkar tweeted the release date of the film yesterday.

Dhumketu has senior actor Chiranjeet Chakraborty playing a key role.

Dev will be seen in a never-before look in Dhumketu. He plays an 82-year old in a major part of the film and reportedly spent seven hours each day to get the prosthetic look.
Musi for the film has been composed by Indraadip Dasgupta.
