New Independent Film from Sudeep Ranjan Sarkar
RBN Web Desk: Independent filmmaker Sudeep Ranjan Sarkar is ready with his new poetic cinema, titled Lust. This is his Sarkar’s third film. He had earlier made Umformung-The Transformation (2016) and Paradiso, slated to be released later this year. Both films were shown at the Marche Du Cannes in 2017.
Veteran cinematographer Santanu Banerjee is the director of photography in Lust. Music for the film has been composed by Sanjib Sarkar, while Anne–Marie O’Sullivan has lent her voice to the title track.

According to Sarkar, Lust is a tribute to world cinema greats like Abbas Kiarostami, Andrei Tarkovsky, and Bernardo Bertolucci. The film has a storyteller narrating tales of past, present and future, he added.

Lust will hit the global festival circuit and would be would be released in theatres the US and Europe, and digitally worldwide. The film has been produced by Rita Jhawar.
