Mimi Chakraborty Vents Anger at Subhasree

RBN Web Desk: Go Goa Gone. No film review, this. It is being widely speculated that filmmaker Raj Chakraborty is holidaying in Goa with actress Mimi Chakraborty since after the Durga Puja. While it’s no secret that the two have rekindled their romance after his marriage with actress Subhasree Ganguly was called off, whether or not Raj and Mimi are indeed vacationing on the Arabian Sea sands, has remained a mystery.

But an infuriated Mimi took to Twitter to vent her anger.

Speaking to popular Bengali daily Sangbad Pratidin, Mimi Chakraborty blamed Subhasree for spreading the rumours that she and Raj had left town for Goa. She alleged that Subhasree had telephoned reporters and told them Raj and Mimi were in the smallest Indian state.

But while tweeting on Raj and Mimi’s whereabouts, Subhasree forgot to change the location settings on her Twitter account that showed north Goa.  Mimi labelled Subhasree as uneducated and claimed to the newspaper that she went to a family friend’s house on Ashtami (28 September) and was present at the Suruchi Sangha Puja on Vijaya Dashami (30 September). Mimi said she went to Jalpaiguri for a day for some personal work after Dashami and in no could have visited Goa in the interim period.

Filmmaker Birsa Dasgupta, actress Nusrat Jahan and others, supported Mimi Chakraborty for her honesty.

While Subhasree maintained silence all the while, the “uneducated” jibe from Mimi didn’t go down too well with her.

It seems the Mimi-Raj-Subhasree love triangle is likely to see more volatility in the coming days.
