HDFC to Hold India Homes Fair for 12th Consecutive Year

London: HDFC, one of India’s leading mortgage lender, will host the India Homes Fair 2019 in the city, exclusively for assisting nonresident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin wanting to own a home in India. The exhibition, in its 12th consecutive year, will showcase the latest projects with properties worth ₹35 lakh onwards by renowned and reputed developers in India.

HDFC Ltd has a strong presence in the UK for the last 14 years through its London branch.

Though there has been a lot of negativity with regards to the real estate sector over the past year, there’s no denying the fact that this is a good time to buy a home in India. Property prices in the last few years have seen a decent correction and hence they are the most affordable in terms of Individual income.  Moreover the housing sector has received more attention from the government than any other sector and has provided significant boost to all stakeholders. The government is doing its best to support the industry with subsidy for buyers and tax-free status for builders. That aside, the government has recently announced the creation of a ₹20,000 crore fund in this regard.

India Homes Fair 2019 will have multiple projects on display from the national capital region (NCR), Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Gujarat, Goa, Kerala, Punjab, Kolkata and other major cities with varying options like flats, apartment, villas, and plots. Customers can avail exclusive offers and value-added benefits during the exhibition.

The two-day event will begin on 19 October and will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. It will be open for visitors from 10am to 7pm on both days.
