Bengali TV Serial Actress Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances

RBN Web Desk: Moumita Saha, a popular Bengali TV serial actress, was found dead last night at her apartment in Regent Park on the southern fringes of Kolkata. Her body was found hanging from a ceiling fan.

The 23-yeard old actress was a resident of Bandel in Hooghly district, but stayed in a rented flat in Regent Park’s Ashoknagar area, which was near her workplace.

Locals alleged, the collapsible gate of her flat was locked, though the main entrance door was closed but not shut.

Police, however, has claimed that both the collapsible gate and the door were bolted from inside.

Prima facie evidence suggests that Moumita committed suicide out of depression. The body has been sent for postmortem and investigators are scanning her mobile phone call list.
