New Show on Acid Attack Survivors

RBN Web Desk: A popular Bengali general entertainment channel (GEC) is all set to introduce a new show on acid attack survivors titled Aloy Bhuvan Bhora. The show will narrate the story of a girl who suffers an acid attack and how her life changes overnight because of the incident.

Actress Roshni Bhattacharya has been roped in to play the main protagonist in the show. The character she plays suffers social stigma after the attack. But the girl doesn’t give up. She fights for justice and rebuilds her life.

Penniless, Miss Shefali Battles for Life

Roshni had earlier played a major role in the TV serial Premer Kahini.

Sanchayita Yadav, a real-life acid attack survivor, will be seen in the promos.

The show will be broadcast on Colors Bangla from 14 May.
