Jisshu in Mahesh Manjrekar Film

RBN Web Desk: Popular Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta is all set to appear in a new Hindi film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Jisshu will play the role of veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah’s son in the film. The project is yet untitled.

Speaking to the media, Jisshu said that he has already shot for a couple of days for the film. He will leave for Mumbai on 10 May to shoot the next part. That aside, an 18-day shooting schedule has been set in Goa, he added.

Besides Naseeruddin, the film has Shruti Haasan, Vidyut Jammwal, and veteran actor-director Amol Palekar in lead roles.

Jisshu will also be seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which is slated to release in August. The film has Kangana Ranaut in the title role. Jisshu plays Kangana’s husband Gangadhar Rao in the film directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi aka Krish.
