Christopher Nolan Hails Satyajit Ray Film as Extraordinary

RBN Web Desk: Christopher Nolan, one of the highest grossing filmmakers ever in the world, has said that legendary Indian director Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali is an “extraordinary piece of work.” The Dunkirk director is currently in India to promote film preservation and restoration.

Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Mumbai today, the 47-year old director said that he didn’t have the pleasure of watching Pather Panchali until recently. He termed it as one of the best films ever made in world cinema.
