Questions Begin to Arise on Irrfan Khan Illness
RBN Web Desk: Since Irrfan Khan tweeted on 5 February to inform that he is suffering from a rare disease, the media has been speculating about the type of illness that could have struck the internationally renowned actor. A popular TV channel claimed last night that Irrfan has a complex brain tumour which is carcinogenic in nature.
The TV channel, quoting a source from Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, said that Irrfan Khan was rushed to the medics when he suffered a series of contractions. A needle biopsy would be carried out on the actor soon to know the real condition of the tumour. Doctors believe, a brain surgery is the only option to relieve him of the illness, the channel quoted sources as having said.

Questions, however, have now begun to arise on the truth behind the media report. Trade analyst Komal Nahta, in a tweet, has dismissed the report as baseless. He said that the news of Irrfan’s hospitalisation is “fake.”
Although IrrfanKhan is unwell, all malicious news being spread about him and his condition since an hour or two are untrue. Likewise, all other horrendous news relating to his hospitalisation are fake. By God’s grace, Irrfan is in Delhi and that’s the only truth.

Many fans of the actor have rubbished the report as speculation.
